Incredible
Show |
| |
|
| |
The
Maria Montessori House of Children and Maria's Public
School have recently celebrated their Annual Foundation
Day at ITA Centre, Machkhowa, Guwahati. The incredible
performance of the young children left the parents
spellbound. It must be the result of a great deal
of efforts on the part of the management and the
teachers of course. The theme of the show was superb,
which covered the performing arts of every corner
of the world and ended with patriotism. The choreography
and costume design complemented each other.
We congratulate the Delhi based choreographer Garima
Srivastava for her indescribable work. Selecting
a different tune for each group or item and making
so many children (some were too little ) dance to
it was no easy task. There was an announcement that
all total 600 children took part in the show.
The credit also goes to the costume designer, who
had meticulously carved the right suit out of correct
fabric and colour for each of the children performing
in different items. Dresses were extremely fitting
to the music that represented the country or continent.
The school management deserves thanks because it
did not let the parents run helter skelter - buying
and tailoring the costumes. It shouldered the whole
responsibility against the payment of a nominal
amount. |
